横山やすしの正体は…
母親から『やすし きよし 爆笑王 漫才ベストコレクション』を借りて鑑賞。このビデオは花王名人劇場出演時の漫才を中心に、脂がのりきっていた時期のやすきよ漫才を堪能できるかなりお得なセット。吾輩は定期的にこのビデオを借りるのですが、やっぱりいつ見てもやすきよの漫才はおもろい。中でも「あぁ高校野球」というネタは最高！！やっさんは例の調子でエンジン全開フルスロットルなんですが、きよっさんも今では考えられないくらいに面白い。暴れまくるやっさんを緩急自在にコントロールする様はまるで猛獣つかい。
それにしてもやっぱり、やっさんですよ。キャラの立ちよう、ツッコミの間合い、どれもが絶妙。誰がどう見ても漫才の天才です。
話はちょっとそれますが、前からやっさんが何かとダブッているような気がしていたもののその答えが出てこずずっと気持ち悪い状態がつづいておりました。しかし、今回やっとその答えが分かったのです。
横山やすしはモッズです。やっさん帽や折り目ピッシリのスラックスなど頑固なファッションへのこだわりや、己の男の美学を貫くさまはモッズ以外のなにものでもありません。乗り物は本場のモッズがモーターサイクルなら、やっさんはモーターボート。全然負けてません。いやホント、冗談抜きでやっさんってフレッドペリーがバリバリ似合いそうだと思いませんか。

今の若いお笑いファンって、「やすきよ」自体は知っていても
漫才は見たことない人なんていう人もいるんでしょうね。
きっといるでしょうね。
最近の高校生はET知らないらしいですよ。
